Pspp for mac install#
This can be done by opening Terminal and typing sudo port install pspp. MacPorts has a pkg installer ready for your OSX so that you just need to download, and double click the pkg for a breezy installation experience. Xcode can be downloaded through the AppStore. If you check the MacPorts documentation, it says you have to download the Xcode and the Xcode Command Line Tools. If you check out the PSPP documentation, you’ll find out that you first you have to install MacPorts.

After three days of trying to get this to work on my Mac OSX, and finding out that it only takes a few hours, I decided to create this guide to help you avoid the mistakes I made.

SPSS is the easier one to install, and you can find it on IBM’s product page worth $1170 (Basic) – $7820 (Premium).
